Test Engineer 

We’re looking for a Test Engineer to join a recently funded healthcare start up. 

Our stack consists of a Xamarin Forms app on iOS and Android, with an AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito back-end. We’re also building a web front-end. 

The job 

• As a Test Engineer you’ll be creating test plans, automating tests and executing manual tests for our app, website and API. 

Essential skills 

• Agile software development and testing methodologies. 
• Experience of testing apps, websites and APIs. 
• Test automation frameworks, including UI test automation of apps. 
• Development of automated tests. 
• Working knowledge of software development, preferably C#, Java, JavaScript or Python. 
• Performance testing.
• Database testing. 
• Familiarity with software process lifecycle, CI/CD Pipelines, and tools such as Jira. 
• API testing (Postman, Fiddler). 
• A good understanding of software engineering best practice and working in a DevOps culture.
